Georg is a digital finance leader with 14 years of international experience across Europe and Southeast Asia. He has built and led finance and controlling functions for high-growth companies in e-commerce, marketplaces, and SaaS.

 

His career began in Berlin’s startup ecosystem in 2010, when he joined Zalando’s performance controlling team during its hyper-growth phase. There, he developed a strong foundation in data-driven steering, KPI architecture, and scalable reporting structures.

 

Building on this foundation, Georg spent the following years in Asia, where he set up and led finance and controlling organizations for leading digital businesses such as Lazada, Ensogo, and Central Group. He built, improved, and automated finance workflows, led digital transformation and PMI projects, and produced reporting and planning outputs that supported key board decisions.

 

Since 2020, Georg has been working independently. As a Fractional CFO, Interim Manager, and Consultant, he helps companies solve finance problems and build scalable operations. He combines strong financial expertise with data-driven, technology-enabled workflows to build structures that improve transparency, speed, and decision-making.
